Our services include makeup, facials, waxing, spray-on tanning, manicures, pedicures, massages and body treatments.

Wedding Makeup
There is probably no other day where you will be as dressed up and centre of attention as on your wedding day and you will probably never be photographed more than on this day. Having your makeup professionally done when you are investing so much on the wedding makes sense.
It’s about making you look beautiful to go with that beautiful dress and hair and bring out the best look that reflects who you are.
Only professional makeup artist products are used which are designed for photography by photographers for the film and fashion industry. These are long lasting and waterproof where needed to ensure your makeup will last all day, look great and your photos will look fantastic. Over the counter products often have ingredients not compatible with today’s modern digital photography.

Before the wedding day
Brides usually have a trial makeup before the day. This pre-wedding consultation costs $80.00 and takes about 1-1.5 hours. You are welcome to bring photos from magazines if you have seen a particular look you are after. The trial is a chance for you to tell me exactly what sort of look and image you are after, and we will discuss the style and colour themes of the wedding. Don’t worry if you are not sure! Often women hire a makeup artist because they never wear make up, don’t have any and don’t know where to start.
Even for that completely natural look in the photos you would be surprised how long it takes to achieve that look! Also this is your big day and you get to decide how you are going to look and how you want the bridesmaids look to compliment you. By the end of the trial you will know just how you will look on the day.
It’s important this is the look YOU want. I won’t be looking at those photos for the rest of my life and a makeup artist should deliver the look you want whether you like a very natural or a high glamour look. As we are also a day spa our therapists can also advise you on any grooming issues such as eyebrows nails or spray tans that you perhaps may need before the day.
On the wedding day
Our makeup artist can either go to where the bride is getting ready, which may be the venue or a house, at the time we have decided together or your makeup can be done at the spa, which is great if you are having other treatments such as a manicure on the day. We allow 40 - 60 minutes per person. The makeup is normally the last thing to do before putting on your dress and the photographer will often wish to photograph it being done.
I suggest you wear something that buttons up the front so you do not disturb hair or makeup pulling something over your beautiful hair. I have seen people cut out of their clothes for forgetting this! You will be given touch up lipstick as this is the one thing you may kiss off during the day. A small compact mirror is a good idea to check hair and makeup before photos.
