Pulses of light penetrate the skin and are absorbed by the melanin in the hair. The absorption heats the hair shaft and the energy is transmitted to the hair follicle. The hair follicles are destroyed and the hairs then fall out in two to three weeks.

Any areas of the face and body can be treated with pulse light. The darker the hair, the richer in melanin and the better the result. Light and fine hairs are more difficult to eliminate but they are not impossible.

For most people there is virtually no pain. The feeling of the treatment is extremely variable from one person to another and it depends on the concentration of melanin in the skin and the size and density of the hair.

Our highly trained Skin Dynamique Day Spa qualified beauty therapists will carry out your treatment. For best results several treatments are required. A 24 hour patch test required before commencing treatment.

Please note that these prices are based on standard areas / amount of hair to be removed. If the area requiring treatment is larger than the standard area or the hair is extremely dense the amount quoted may change but this would be discussed with you.
